In Man of Steel (2013), we saw Superman battle General Zod. When the movie came out, it was not yet certain if the movie was going to be a part of a bigger DC Comics movie universe. Despite this, there were a lot of Easter eggs that referenced the comics anyway. In the final battle between Superman and Zod, they were duking it out and effectively destroying the Metropolis. They even had to take it to the outer parts of the atmosphere and crashed into a satellite while they did so. If you hit pause right then, you might have noticed that there was a “Wayne” sign on the satellite! Do we really need to explain that this was a nod to Bruce Wayne, also known as Batman?

Ghostbusters – Ghost Outbreak Scene
Ghostbusters took the world by storm when it was released in 1984. Part of its popularity had to do with the fact that it appealed to people of all ages. Who would have ever thought that a porn star was going to make a cameo in the film? Ron Jeremy was one of the biggest porn stars of the ‘70s, although he did appear in mainstream movies as well. He is usually cast as an extra, which is the case for Ghostbusters. He was spotted in a crowd as a ghost outbreak took place on the street.
