Dan Reehil wrote to the parents of the school’s kids, stating, “[The Harry Potter] novels show magic as both good and evil – which is not true but is, in fact, a cunning deception.” It is important to note that the curses and spells utilized in the books are real curses and spells that, when read by a human being, run the risk of summoning evil spirits into the presence of the individual reading the text.”
