Discovering Higgs Boson Or “God Particle”
Back in 2012, it was discovered that “God particle,” or Higgs Bostons were real, and this revelation helped explain how objects have mass. While this in its own is a huge deal, what’s even more impressive is that the Simpsons predicted 15 years before. In that episode, there was a scene depicting Homer in front of a blackboard with an equation written on it. This equation predicted the mass of the particle, long before it was actually found.
