From 1989 to 1993, George H.W. Bush, Sr. was President of the United States. On the other hand, younger generations will likely remember him as the father of President George W. Bush. The elder Bush previously served as Ronald Reagan’s Vice President for eight years before being elected to the presidency. During times of crisis, he was known for his ability to lead. He was an excellent negotiator, particularly in international affairs. He wasn’t stupid, even if he was a controversial figure. George H. W.
