Lauren Sanchez
Lauren Sanchez is a native of New Mexico, but she relocated to Los Angeles after graduating from high school. She received her communications degree from the University of Southern California. She worked hard to make a name for herself, and this is evident once you find out that she started as a desk assistant for the Los Angeles-based KCOP-TV. Phoenix-based KTVK-TV later hired her as a reporter and anchor before offering a reporting job at Extra. In the past, she has also been employed by KTTV Fox-11, Fox Sports Net, and The View.

Vera Jimenez
Born in Mexico City, Vera Jimenez and her family migrated to California when she was only three years old. She took up undergraduate studies at California State University and then meteorology studies at Mississippi State University. She is now in her fifties, and Jimenez has an impressive resume to show for it. Previously employed by KFWB-AM, KIK-FM, and KNX-AM, she now works for the Los Angeles-based KTLA programs, News at 6 and News at 10. She has reported both the weather and traffic over the years. She is the recipient of three Golden Mikes Awards, three Golden Pylons Awards, and two Emmy Awards.
