Given the popularity of Reeves’s nice-guy reputation, then, it’s unsurprising that fans have fallen in love with him-so much so that he was called “the internet’s boyfriend.” When Reeves once learned this flattering title, his reaction was adorable. “I didn’t know that… That’s wacky,” Reeves said at the Toy Story 4 premiere in June 2019 after he was told of the nickname by People. He added, “The positivity is great.”

Speaking of wackiness, it is probably the quirky side of Reeves that led to his fans being obsessed with him. And in June 2019, this definitely came to the fore when the actor was addressing a panel at the Electronic Entertainment Expo for the video game Cyberpunk 2077. Reeves’ conversation with one of the members of the audience was actually so funny and sweet that it spawned a meme.
