A royal watcher told Daily Express that it did not seem like the Queen was suffering anything more serious than a regular cold. Maybe she was simply making concessions to age by not wearing her Imperial State Crown. To be fair, it is a pretty heavy piece with all its jewels.

The Queen has not made it to her 90s without suffering health problems here and there. In 2003, she got minor knee surgery, which kept her out of the spotlight for a couple of weeks. In 2018, she got cataract surgery as well. She went back to business without skipping a single day when that happened!
