She was unpopular due to her snobbishness and self-centered attitude. On the show, there were villains that people seemed to despise, but she surpassed them all!

Dustin Diamond brought Screech to life during season one of Saved by the Bell: The College Years. Unfortunately, it turned out to be the show’s only season. His college iteration sparked hatred among fans, even though he was a beloved character in the original series. It turned out that the actor was aware that this was the case. In an interview in 2000, he stated that the writers tried to “destroy” the character on purpose. Oh well, maybe it was just him showing up at an inconvenient time.
