Andy stepped to the store to purchase a few food and drinks for an evening at home, thinking to herself, “What an enterprising kid!” She considered buying stuff from her on her way out, but by the time she left the shop 10 minutes later, everything had gone to hell.

The old woman interrogated the girl, asking, “Where is your license?” The teenager was speechless. She didn’t seem to think she was breaking any rules by selling a few candy bars for a little extra money. “Did you get permission to come here?” The woman was adamant. With tears in his eyes, the candy vendor eventually got the courage to respond.

“All I’m doing is selling candy.” I’m trying to make some money,” the teary eyed girl replied, immediately regretting ever having thought of starting her own small business. The woman, on the other hand, was unyielding. In fact, she increased the severity of her threats. “Well, you’re going to jail if you don’t have a permit.” She yelled, “The sheriff is on his way!”

The little girl had a terrified expression on her face. She cast a glance over at her brother, who’d been selling candy a short distance away, but he’s too far away to notice what was going on. Another customer approached just as the woman was about to retaliate with more venom. He inquired, “What’s going on?” and “Are you selling this candy?” He didn’t appear to be the sheriff. He could have been the shop manager. The little girl went completely still.

“I’m… just selling candy,” the girl reiterated before sobbing uncontrollably. For explanations, the man turned to the enraged woman. She explained, “She doesn’t have a permit and she doesn’t have permission from the store to sell food on their premises.” “But don’t be concerned,” she added. “I’ve contacted the authorities.” Jay Lopez, the man, was now perplexed.

“Why don’t you mind your own business?” says the narrator. Lopez defended the young lady. “I can’t believe you’ve made her cry about this!” The woman was taken aback by the news. She had to believe he worked at Target as well and was on her corner. Lopez realized that something needed to be done about the situation, so he knelt down and spoke calmly to the little teenager on her level.

“How much are you asking for these?” Lopez enquired of the young lady. The girl replied, “A dollar each, sir.” Lopez regained his balance. He said to the grumpy old lady, “You should be ashamed of yourself,” before pulling out his wallet to buy something from the girl. He immediately noticed, however, that he had paid with his credit card in the store and had no money to offer her. The haughty lady smiled.

The man barged off, conquered by his inability to back up his defense of the teenage woman, choosing to leave her alone with the inhumane woman once more. Without Lopez to back her up, the girl became frightened once more as the woman reassured her that the cops were coming to take her to “jail.” Then things went in a completely different direction.

When Lopez came back with a bunch of cash, he exclaimed, “I’m buying everything!” “How much is it all going to cost?” As she furiously listed her existing supply of candy and told him she had $80 worth, the little girl’s worry and fear vanished. The grumpy old lady was taken aback. Furthermore, she had made no attempt to contact the authorities. Lopez had one more good deed up his sleeve as well.

As the little girl collected up all the money she’d be given by the good Samaritan, Jay handed out free candy bars to passers-by. Of course, he didn’t give one to the woman, who eventually walked away. But Andy, who had been observing the whole thing, made sure we didn’t see her again.

Sunday even after Sunday passed, and the MIL’s iron grip on the dinners continued. People ate what was being put in front of them calmly and politely (as if they had a choice in the matter). The wife was far too aware of the situation and went straight to her mother to explain the situation. only for the sake of her husband’s general health, she asked her mother to cut back on spending on the salt. The next meal brought more needles all across the head and pounding inside the human skull. The mother’s reaction when simply asked was incredible. She simply stated that the food was not good enough and returned to her old habits. It was her kitchen, so she set the rules. So, what was the answer? Defend yourself.

Visitors had to arrive early for a birthday party a few months later. Jake walked around the house with his drink in his hand. When he entered the kitchen and saw no one, he decided to take action. He discovered and hid the hated salt shaker in the pantry. He wasn’t done yet.

The main salt jar has also gone missing (well-hidden in another part of the kitchen). When he heard a loud noise coming from the kitchen, he vanished into the large group of party guests and secretly smiled. The amusement of watching his mother-in-law yell about salt was only the start of a satisfying saga.

The reaction was completely unpredictable when everyone sat back down at the special dinner. People ate politely most of the time, but not much was left on the plate. Everyone enjoyed it this time. They praised the mother’s work and inquired as to what made it unique. She screamed that her prized condiment had vanished. The visitors did not come to a halt.

They complemented every level of rage the mother expressed with assurances that the meal was tasty and that she should put limits on the white stuff permanently. “No, it’s disgusting!” “No, seriously, it’s some of the most delicious food you’ve ever prepared!” It had become almost comedic, not to mention extremely satisfying.
