Havanese
Very similar to the Maltese, Havanese are a great option for seniors. They are playful, affectionate dogs that are small, and need a fair amount of exercise. They love spending time with their owners and become very loyal to them. Havansese’s fur is not difficult to maintain and requires regular brushing. Their personality is sweet and gentle in nature, but can sometimes be found that these dogs are highly-strung.

The Maltese adapt very well to smaller homes or apartments. They enjoy spending time cuddling. Many times they are used as therapy dogs due to their calm disposition.
