Brussels Griffon
Another lap dog on the list- the Brussels Griffons, so much so that you might have some trouble keeping them away from you! This breed has a few similar characteristics to bulldogs. They generally prefer the company of older people as they are not as comfortable around children. Their personality is sweet and relaxed, making them an excellent companion for seniors.
Bulldog
Besides the fact that this breed has a shorter life span than the others on the list, a Bulldog makes a fantastic companion for all ages. Although they have a gruff and grumpy appearance, these dogs are very friendly dogs and very much enjoy spending time with their owner. Plus, they don’t need much exercise. Since Bulldogs don’t exactly run around too much, it is important to keep an eye on is their diet.
