We’re not going to talk about the 1980-81 season of Saturday Night Live. To begin with, the sketches were tremendously unfunny, and the casting of the new director, Jean Doumanian, was a train wreck. Then, in the season’s 11th episode, cast member Charles Rocket chose to use the F-word in the concluding minutes, lowering the bar even further. The studio was not impressed, regardless matter how dire the situation was, and Rocket was swiftly expelled from the show. Because SNL was purging all of its cast members, I suppose it was only a matter of time.

Amanda Bynes
In 2012, Bynes was found guilty of driving while inebriated and assaulted a police officer with her vehicle. She immediately stopped performing, but being out of the spotlight doesn’t necessarily mean you can do whatever you want, and Bynes was arrested for a second DUI. For the time being, she was placed on a medical hold. Amanda’s status, however, does not appear to be in good shape.
