Joe devised a high-risk strategy. He dragged Abby into Bonedigger’s lair! He did kept the dachshund on a leash and hoped the lion would be gentle with her. Bonedigger, on the other hand, was terrified of the young pup and sought to draw away from her.

Bonedigger’s Reaction
Joe urged the keeper who was holding Bonedigger to let him free so he could determine whether or not he wanted to make friends with Abby on his own. While Abby appeared to be eager to be around Bonedigger based on the way she leaped about. However, Bonedigger moved away from both the keeper and the dog before roaring! He may have tried his hardest, but it still sounded like a squeak. Whatever the case, it was time to separate the lion and the dog.
