This includes learning new languages. Angelina mentioned that the kids were learning different languages. “I asked them what languages they wanted to learn and Shi is learning Khmai, which is the Cambodian language, Pax is focusing on Vietnamese, Mad has taken to German and Russian, Z is speaking French, Vivienne really wanted to learn Arabic, and Knox is learning sign language.” One strict rule that Angelina did set for the kids is no drinking. It’s been said that Angelina has even gone as far as not bringing any alcohol into the house. Not to mention, the kids weren’t allowed to sleep over by friends Angelina fears might have the opportunity to drink. In terms of Angelina’s parenting, she encourages the kids to do their own thing for the most part.

Regardless of that, Angeling does have a handful of other rules that she insists that children abide by. Seeing as though all the kids have relatively uncommon names, ‘the rainbow family’ usually go by their nicknames instead. For example, Maddox, is “Mad”, Zahara is “Z”, Vivienne is “Vivi” and so forth.
