Full As A Tick
What was the last moment after a meal when you felt so complete? This is also what happens to us as we spend the weekend meeting our people. You’d also have to take our pants’ zipper down to fit it! While you’re in the south, you might say, “I’m full as a tick.” If you are lucky enough to be inexperienced with ticks, after swallowing a decent amount of blood, they’re in a balloon! Not everyone owns a horse, but you’re not asked to get one by the word! It’s such a popular term that people are constantly tossing it around in the south. They really want you to calm down a bit if anyone ever mentions this to you. We also realize that staying patient at all times requires a lot of self-control. Simmering and taking it easy now and again can’t hurt, though!
