Gus Johnson

Gus Johnson is a Howard University grad who served as a play-by-play analyst for the Timberwolves and the Big East Network. He also called CFL and NFL games for ESPN and CBS, respectively. From 1998 to 2010, he was with CBS. He had to leave the network after a contract issue and called college sports for Fox Sports Network. His yearly salary is $500k, and he is still the play-by-play announcer for the Bucks.

Jim Nantz

Jim Nantz has covered the NFL, the PGA Tour, the NCAA D1, and the Masters Tournament. The New Orleans native studied broadcasting at the University of Houston and worked for CHBS before moving to KHOU. He returned to CBS in the ‘80s to cover golf, football, and basketball. He has a lot of charm, which made him a hit with the viewers. The Thursday Night Football host makes $5 million a year.
