Alan again meets Shannon during the second wedding of Judith and Herb. As time went by, he later found out that she and Herb were already engaged. Shannon and Alan were both hung up on their exes and used each other to the point that it would both make them jealous at the ceremony. Shannon takes a step further by screaming out Alan’s name while the wedding is ongoing. The plan did not work out and neither of them wins back their ex. They both fail to accomplish their mission.
