Although Charlie is killed off, Alan, Jake, and Walden continue to keep up their flirtatious ways. When Walden and Alan are trying to adopt, they end up liking the social worker in the story. When they assigned Louis, Ms. McMartin realized that they lied about their application. Moreover, she ends up forgiving them and even dates Alan. In the end, however, she changes her mind and decides to move on to Walden.

The actress got engaged to Ben Koldyke of Mr. Robinson fame in November 2014 and married him in 2015. In early 2017 she filed for divorce from Koldyke.
