I Apologize
In 1996, the college golf star was going to be awarded the top college golfer award at Stanford. However, he ended up skipping the awarding event! We do not know why he did not go, although he apparently wrote 200 individual letters to all the guests as an apology.

I Apologize
No, Thank You
When he went to Thailand for a tournament in 2000, he received an offer of Thai citizenship. He ended up turning down the offer. His mom, Kultida “Tida” Woods, hails from the Asian country. She and Earl Woods first met when he was sent on tour in 1968. Nope, they did not give it to him for no good reason! As you can see, they took his heritage into consideration when they did this.

No Thank You
