When Tom Selleck got divorced from Jacqueline Ray, he was understandably down in the dumps. His crewmates were concerned about him and decided to cheer him up. They were filming in London at the time and the musical “Cats” was showing. Selleck apparently fell in love with the show as he went to watch it again, not twice but twelve times!

Soon, it was revealed why Selleck kept on watching “Cats”. It turned out that he had fallen in love Rumpleteazer, the character played by actress Jillie Joan Mack. The actor introduced himself to the young woman and invited her to get dinner together. As Jillie’s contract with “Cats” was ending, she had more time to meet up with Selleck. As the old adage goes: the rest is history!
