The new Magnum PI took fans by storm, but they were soon disappointed to learn that Tom Selleck would not be a part of the cast. When TV Guide Magazine interviewed Selleck about having a part in the remake of the original show, he simply answered, “Absolutely not. I’m busy with Blue Bloods.” He continued, “It will never be what in my fantasy world, I would make it to be.”
