While beauty might be a personal matter, there are some exceptions to the rule which we can all agree on. There are things that are simply ugly. Over the years, car manufacturers have experimented with their designs, coming out with all kinds of cars. Naturally, ugly cars are bound to happen at some point or another – it’s all about trial and error. In order to give these hideous cars the recognition they deserve, we’ve gathered the best ones we could find for you to enjoy.

2004 Covini C6W

To start things off, meet the Covini C6W. Despite having an excellent 400 hp engine, this 6-wheeled car is very reminiscent of an insect and, to be honest, is very odd. It may have the extra wheels to make braking better and improve its balance, but the design of this car is too weird to ever take seriously.

Marcos Mantis

While the British manufacturer Marcos specialized in sports cars, they actually produced relatively ugly cars. All the same, it seems like the Mantis wins the title for the worst looking car they ever made. Thankfully, only one Mantis was released back in 1968 and it wasn’t long before it was retired. It last appeared in the 2008 Festival of Speed.
