When the AMC Pacer was released back in 1975, it was very popular at the time. The press called it ‘unique’, ‘bold’, and ‘futuristic’. In response to the 1970s gasoline crisis, AMC made an electric version of this car. To be frank, we can’t figure out the reason for this car’s popularity.
