1947 Julien MM5
Produced between 1947 and 1949, this French convertible got the green light from the French government due to the shortage that France was facing. For the same reason, the government also freed up the necessary materials. Having said that, only a few were made and got fitted with various engines over the years. The performance of the car can be described as “acceptable” at its best. However, the one thing we have difficulty getting past is its design. This car looks like an insect, literally. Maybe the classic Volkswagen Beetle inspired them?
1965 Peel Trident
Built by Peel engineering, this three-wheel micro-car’s design was all new and very different from that of the Peel P50, which had one seat. Shockingly, they designed this car with two seats. The big question is: did anyone actually spend their hard-earned money on this car? We’re not even sure if you can call this a car because it looks a lot like a board game piece.
