Laura had other ideas when her buddy tried to get her back together with Matt. “I was a freshman in high school, so I was like, ‘I don’t think so!'”Laura said to People. Her friend gave Matt her number even though she had indicated she had no intention of getting in touch with Matt again. Laura was really anxious about the whole thing, but all of her worries seemed to vanish when Matt surprised her in such a spectacular way.

Matt texted Laura shortly after, and they decided to get together. Since so many years had passed, neither of them knew what to anticipate, yet it was obvious that their chemistry remained strong. They instantly clicked when they met up in a movie theater; it was as if they had always been friends, or even lovers. These two were formally dating after just two weeks following Matt’s initial communication. These two were not out of the clear, though. They had far more to conquer.
