Michael Bloomberg is known as the former New York City mayor. He has made a lot of money by owning a financial information firm that bears his name. He is the father to two daughters but also signed the Giving Pledge by Warren Buffett and Bill Gates. In one letter, he said, “If you want to do something for your children and show how much you love them, the single best thing—by far—is to support organizations that will create a better world for them and their children.” He has the Bloomberg Philanthropic Foundation, which focuses on a bunch of causes like health care and literacy.

Pierre Omidyar is best known for founding eBay. He and his wife are planning to donate their huge sum of money.
