In 2011, he died after a horrible car crash. According to the autopsy, he had been suffering from a heart disease without knowing it.

Born Oscar Gutierrez, Rey Mysterio is most famous for wearing masks reminiscent of the ones worn by Lucha Libre wrestlers. The wrestler shot to stardom in the ‘90s and ‘00s thanks to his unique style inside the ring. Over the course of his career, he has bagged major titles such as WWE Championship, World Heavyweight Championship, and WWE Cruiserweight Championship. These days, he still looks exactly as he did a decade ago and continues to be active in the world of wrestling. He was just 40 years old and had been struggling with many personal issues.

He passed away in 2018.
