The pop star announced that she was canceling the residency indefinitely on January 4, 2019. She let everyone know that her dad was sick. He was involved in a near-fatal incident, so she decided to clear out her schedule to spend as much time with him as she could. Even though her fans were devastated, they knew that it was only a matter of time before she returned. They all knew that she was going to return to the stage sometime in the future.
