Being a parent while serving in the Army presented a lot of challenges. It was hard enough to be a parent in general, but being far away from his wife and his new daughter was much more complicated than he’d imagined.

At Peace
Tomas would always yearn for his little girl, and he wishes to be with her. Being new at parenting, his wife also misses him and knows this experience could have been better if they shared it. It was consolation enough for Tomas that he knows that his wife is making sure that his daughter is well cared for.
