Hal Ketchum
Hal Ketchum, a country singer, passed away at the age of 67. While he had 17 records on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart, such as “Small Town Saturday Night” and “Hearts Are Gonna Roll,” Ketchum’s most commercially successful launch was his 1991 album Past the Point of Rescue and the song of the same name, he retired nearly three decades later upon being diagnosed with dementia.

Joe Luna, better known by his stage name Joe El Cholo, died at the age of 38 from COVID-19 complications. He used social media to document his war with the novel coronavirus, sharing his hardships as the pandemic spread. Luna has appeared in local Los Angeles comedy venues such as the Ice House and the Improv Theatre through most of his professional life.
