Martin Garrix
Martijn Gerard Garritsen, better known by his stage name Martin Garrix, is a Dutch DJ who has topped DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs list for three years in a row—2016, 2017, and 2018. “Animals,” “In the Name of Love,” and “Scared to Be Lonely” are his most well-known singles. He also goes by the aliases “Ytram” and “GRX.”

A virtual one-man band, his use of synthesizers and other electronic musical instruments during the 1970s reshaped the conventions of R&B. He also helped drive the genre into the album era, crafting his LPs as cohesive, consistent socially conscious statements with complex compositions.
