While Downey Jr. briefly struggled with substance abuse and an incarceration in early 2000, he turned his career around when given the lead role in Marvel’s Iron Man. He is one of Hollywood’s highest-paid actors to date, making an estimated $80 million in just one year.
Debbie Reynolds – Carrie Fisher (23 Years Old)
Debbie Reynolds and Carrie Fisher were a mother-daughter acting duo that had few rivals in Hollywood. Debbie earned her success staring in many Hollywood films, and Carrie made a name for herself portraying Princess Leia in Star Wars. Building upon the groundwork that her mother set, Carrie went on to grow her reputation to international proportions.
