1970 Mazda Cosmo
Reports claim that the 1970 Mazda Cosmo had been a tough sell for Jay Leno. He was not sure if he liked the white Cosmo being offered to him. In the end, he bought it in 2012. It was eventually featured on his TV show as well. It was built a decade after Mazda released its very first car. This sporty car underwent modifications under the instructions of Leno, which is nothing unusual whatsoever. Like his other cars, the Cosmo received an upgraded engine. The 12a was swapped out for a more RX-7 engine. It used to be worth $4,390, but it is now worth $169,500.
1973 Citroen SM 5 Speed
Jay Leno bought a teal blue 1973 Citroen SM 5-Speed from Ron Susser. The SM is known for its incredible performance and came equipped with a 3-L motor and a five-speed manual transmission. This is among the rarest Citroen SM models in the world. There were only 2,500 of these ever made! In 1971, it finished in third place during the European Car of the Year competition. The following year, it did even better in the United States as it bagged the Motor Trend Car of the Year Award. Under the hood, you will find a V6 engine. Robert Opron designed the car, which was produced from 1970 to 1975. It originally sold for $13,000 but you now need to pay $55,000 if you want to get a copy of it.
