Before she became the ‘people’s Princess’, Lady Diana led an almost ordinary life. Diana Spencer took ballet and piano. She had a beloved pony as a pet named Scuffle. She adored kids and worked as a nanny as well as in a nursery. In this photo, we see teenage Diana with her adorable pet out in the sunshine on a field somewhere in the English countryside. It’s clear that she loved her pet dearly.

Before She Went, Royal
As we’ve mentioned, before Diana became a royal and her life completely changed, she had many jobs. She worked as a nanny, she worked in restaurants and was a teacher’s assistant. This iconic photo was taken in 1980 during her time in the Young England Kindergarten she worked at. This was still prior to her time as a princess in the royal family. She was known to love children very much.
