It has been mentioned that Mark is well connected with the protocol for local animal rescues. He even provides legal assistance to animal shelters located in his area.

He immediately thought of the Strong Island Animal Rescue League, whom he knew are professionals that gets a job done. He knew someone other than himself would be able to help the injured deer better than he could, so he did the right thing and sought out help.
Getting Help
After Storm brought the little deer back to shore and saved its life, Mark made sure the creature received the assistance that it needed. Though he wished he could help the deer himself, he knew he couldn’t.
