Dolly is credited by Billy Ray Cyrus to have jump started his career. When his first album came out, Dolly got him to do the opening act in some of her concerts. His career really took off when he started working with Dolly. However, rumor has it that they were actually more than friends. When Billy tried to apologize to Dolly about the speculations, she just said, “Honey, that sh*t sells records!”
