Huge Fan
In 1998, before her movie Home Fries was shown on the big screen, actress Drew Barrymore talked about Dolly. Her character in the movie was a huge fan of Dolly Parton. Drew even told Dolly that some of her songs would be featured in the movie. However, the movie did not really focus of Dolly, to her surprise. There were only a few mentions of Dolly, some pictures and posters of her throughout the movie.

One thing that sets Dolly Parton apart is her hilarious sense of humor. She just knows how to make people laugh. She once said, “I’m not offended by all the dumb blonde jokes because I know I’m not dumb…and I also know that I’m not blonde.” She was also quoted saying, “I was the first woman to burn my bra – it took the fire department four days to put it out.”
