Dolly wanted to reach more mainstream audiences. So, she released the song “Here You Come Again.” More than a million copies of this hit single were sold. It even topped the charts of country music and reached the top 20 of the pop charts. She’s actually destined for more success, but she did not compose one of her greatest singles. In fact, she has Barry Mann and Cynthia Weil to thank for it.
