Giving Them A Visit
Thomas drove up to the immaculate apartment building and took a stroll down the driveway. He knocked on the door but received no response. He whipped out his spare key because he had suspected as much. He was going to tell these tenants what he thought of them. The sight in the hallway sent him reeling when he creaked the unoiled door open.
It Was Filthy
Trash was piled from floor to ceiling in the apartment. Children’s toys littered the once-immaculate hardwood floor, as did broken furniture in heaps of splintered wood. The stench of rotten food hung in the air like a thick fog, with dishes piled high on every surface.
