Two Cartoons
Back in the 60’s and 70’s, shows tried adapted to animation or creating cartoon spin-offs to stay relevant. So, you may recall that Gilligan’s Island also participated in this fad. Actually, they had two of their own cartoons. Well, one was the classic Gilligan’s Island but then they created an outer space themed show called Gilligan’s Planet.

Tina Louise has become synonymous with her character’s name Ginger. However, there have actually been six people who played Ginger, if you count both the cartoons and films in addition to the show. Did you know Dawn Wells voiced both her character Mary Ann and Ginger for the cartoon spin-off, Gilligan’s Planet?
