He Died At The Age Of 81
Don Knotts passed away on the 24th of February 2006. He died when he was 81 years old. It was revealed to the public that he passed away due to different complications that attacked his respiratory system – lung cancer and pneumonia. His body was placed in the Westwood Memorial Park. His family, friends, and other loved ones just recently commemorated Don Knotts’ 14th death anniversary last February. That just proved that no matter how years have passed already after his death, he was never forgotten and he would never be.

Millions of people loved the character that he played in the famous sitcom, The Andy Griffith Show, to the point that Tom Hellebrand, a talented artist, made a statue of Barney Fife. However, it had to be immediately taken down after Paramount Studio did not allow the artist to make a figure of a fictional character that was used in one of its television shows.
