The Pickle Story is an episode title in The Andy Griffith Show. Don Knotts said that it was his favorite out of all the episodes in the series. He shared how much he enjoyed filming the scene wherein he and Andy Griffith had to eat all the awful pickles that Aunt Bee had prepared – they could not stop eating despite its taste because both of them were scared of how Aunt Bee would react. Well, it is actually a great and hilarious episode – no wonder why it was Knotts’ favorite.

Andy Griffith was well-known for being a very playful person both on cameras and off cameras who had always pulled off a lot of pranks to other people, especially his closest friend, Don Knotts. Well, it seemed like the staff working behind his very own show already had enough of his pranks as they all brainstormed some ideas to prank their boss. They ended up stealing and hiding Andy’s shoes. Because of that, the actor had no choice but to go home, barefoot. The whole crew laughed so hard.
