Her eloquence and abilities make her roles seem otherworldly, even though she doesn’t always star in comedies. When she was cast as Lisbeth Salander in The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, she received her big break. Her portrayal of the role had to be difficult, but her efforts were rewarded with her first Oscar nomination. She gave an incredible performance that piqued our interest in seeing what she’s up to next. The result was brilliant and stoic, and it kept us glued to our seats. We haven’t seen many actresses in this role who can hold our attention as well as she did! It will be interesting to see where she goes next.
