Jessica Chastain
Like so many of her colleagues, this star does not want to be trapped in a bubble. Jessica Chastain ignores the audience’s and executives’ desires to offer us well-rounded and dynamic characters. Over the years, she has shown an incredible range. You might also call her an advocate for imperfect characters! It’s interesting to see her on the screen because she gives us a glimpse into another person’s world. Her talent has always made us think about someone we know. When it comes to characterization, she has a keen sense of what works and what doesn’t. It’s impressive that she can do this without having to spoon-feed us. She’s a unique talent. We’re always holding out hope that she’ll win an Academy Award one day!
Toni Collette
Toni Collette may be described as a chameleon, but we believe she is better described as a “mirror.” This should be taken as a compliment, even though it sounds a bit off-putting! Actors are hired to represent reality, after all. The actress has a reputation for portraying neurotic characters. It would have been a whole different story if she hadn’t already injected morality into them. She gives such normal reactions that you may not realize she’s behaving at all. Many people have criticized her for being stereotyped as a crazed and miserable mother. Regardless, she has always made each character feel distinct, regardless of the project she is working on. In The Sixth Sense and Knives Out, she demonstrated this. She is, without a doubt, one of the most talented actresses of our time.
