Nadya recently spoke with a reporter from the New York Times about her personal experiences. “I’m working on a book,” she explained, a project she’s been working on for the past 13 years, and it’s clear she wants to finally clear the air. “That’s why I want to do this interview. I’ve been writing this manuscript since graduate school.”

Weaving Around The Kitchen
According to the reporter, “the children moved in unison, weaving around the tight kitchen and adjacent living room, while their mother checked on their brother Aidan, 13, who has autism. It’s hard to believe they all live in the same three-bedroom Orange County townhouse, but he noticed how well they all got along. One child chopped vegetables, another boiled water, another set the table, and so on. The older children kept an eye on the younger ones, as Amerah, 16, cautioned them, “Be careful with that,” while thumb scrolling.”
