Time definitely flies so fast. Sometimes, we don’t even know how to keep track of all the things that happen in a span of a few years, especially in show business. When the world of television and movies started, it made immortalizing our favorite stars much easier! It may seem that the Golden Age of Hollywood happened a long time in the past, but it has only been a few decades since it happened. You might be surprised, but a lot of our favorite stars from that time are still with us! Let’s check out what’s keeping them busy years after they rose to fame in Hollywood.
BETTY WHITE, 96 YEARS OLD
Everybody loves Betty White. It appears that the star started her career back in the 1940s on the radio. The executive did not think she was beautiful enough to go on-screen when she first started. Were they blind?! Anyway, she has since established her career as a female entertainer, one whose career has run the longest! Achieving that was quite a feat, but she managed to do it. It looks like she has no plans of quitting anytime soon, too. Good job, Betty!
HAL HOLBROOK, 93 YEARS OLD
It’s hard to deny that Hal Holbrook is one of Hollywood’s most talented men. It is pretty interesting that he first made his claim to fame when he played Mark Twain in a one-man play. He has since gotten job offers from different directions. He is a versatile actor who has worked on stage, on the big screen and also the small screen. But of course, we mustn’t forget to mention that he has numerous awards and accolades that he has accumulated through the years!
