Diahann Caroll was the first non-white television star which made her the role model of every African-American. We definitely have to mention her incredible performance in Julia! She was radiant when she played that role. She also got numerous awards and nominations throughout the years. She also overcame her battle against breast cancer. She has since retired from acting and we last saw her in show business in 2014. We must say that her legacy will surely last remain in our memories!
