The house was stunning, but the backyard was unfortunately not. It surely saw some neglect although at some point, it seemed as if the owners made an effort to install AstroTurf. However, that was the only landscaping they did. Despite the lacklustre backyard, the realtors knew the property could fetch a great price. Carla and Gladys got some inspectors to come to the house to check for hidden damages and flaws before they began selling the house.

Sometimes, a house can look amazing but have severe hidden problems, such as foundation issues or moldy walls. Things like these usually mean a huge price drop, but Gladys and Carla believed the house was perfectly fine. Despite how confident they were, something unexpected might turn up. There was another huge surprise when inspectors came to the 148 Jane Street.
