In the interview with Good Morning America, Sarah said, “He wasn’t answering his door, but there were lights on, and you could hear the TV playing.” Those were the signs that Tracey Hamblen saw that indicated that someone was inside the house. That’s also the reason why he kept knocking and knocking, knowing and expecting that Alexander was going to open it up for him. However, when Alexander didn’t pick up his phone when they called him, that’s when they decided to call for help, they called 911.

“He came back to the store, and that’s when he went ahead and decided to place the 911 call,” Sarah added in the interview with Good Morning America. When Tracey Hamblen came back with the news and what he had seen in the house, they knew that the best thing to do is ask for help and call 911 to check what was happening inside Alexander’s home fully. “Scared, worried. What happened? What was going on?” Sarah said.
