Mark Salling
In “Glee,” Mark Salling rose to stardom as Corey Monteith’s bully-turned-rockstar best buddy. He was accused of child abuse in 2015, as well as additional counts of child exploitation, putting him in legal difficulty. Salling eventually committed suicide in 2018, but the story ends tragically.
Sinead O’Connor
O’Connor stunned the audience during a 1992 visit on Saturday Night Live. First, she changed the words of Bob Marley’s “War” to depict the Catholic Church’s pervasive child sexual exploitation. Following her emotional triumph, she tore up a photograph of Pope John Paul II live on TV.
